Basic Function: The mission of TLC Family Resource Center is to promote the optimal health and development of children and families living in Sullivan and lower Grafton counties. In order to accomplish our mission, TLC employs parent educators who help to strengthen families. The role of the parent educator is to help parents and children develop healthy attachment, create positive parent/child relationships, and achieve their goals using the Growing Great Kids curriculum.
Essential Duties (include but are not limited to):

Basic Function: Attending to supervised visits set up by DCYF for families affected by abuse and neglect.
Hours: Days, after school and/or weekends. This is a per diem position.
Supervision Received: Reports to and is supervised by the Nurse Case Manager and/or Clinical Supervisor
Supervision Exercised: None
Qualifications (knowledge and skills): B.A. degree in human services and 3 years experience working with children and families.
