Reservations required in order to get a free lunch. As part of the 25th anniversary of TLC Family Resource Center, you are invited to a free viewing of this award winning film. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Everyone who touches the life of children is invited to be part of this event! April 20, from noon to 1 p.m. There will be a 30 minute discussion time following the film for those who can stay. The screening will be held at the Claremont Savings Bank Community Room, 145 Broad St, Claremont. “THE CHILD MAY NOT REMEMBER, BUT THE BODY REMEMBERS.” As this new documentary reveals, toxic stress can trigger hormones that wreak havoc on the brains and bodies of children, putting them at a greater risk for disease, homelessness, prison time, and early death. While the broader impacts of poverty worsen the risk, no segment of society is immune. Resilience, however, also chronicles the dawn of a movement that is determined to fight back.
