Melony Williams
LCMHC Clinical SupervisorMelony Williams, LCMHC is the Clinical Supervisor at TLC Family Resource Center in Claremont. She has worked at TLC for 14 years supporting children, families and agency staff. Melony is trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy and provides this evidence based treatment to families. Rene Couitt is the Intake Coordinator at TLC Family Resource Center in Claremont. She has worked at TLC for 19 years supporting children, families and agency staff. Additional 2018 Data on the Families We Serve

There were 374 infants born to residents of Sullivan County.
Half of these were to unmarried mothers.
About 36% (35.8%) of these deliveries were paid by Medicaid.
1.6% received late or no prenatal care.
80% received adequate or intensive prenatal care as measured by the Adequacy of Prenatal Care Utilization Index.
70.1% were born full term (>=39 completed wks).
An additional 21.6% were born early term (37-38 completed wks).
87.7% of these births occurred at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
37.4% of mothers had a pre-pregnancy weight categorized as Normal.
2.7% Underweight.
23.6% Pre-obese.
(remainder Obese classes I-III)
20.1% of mothers gained less than the 2009 Institute of Medicine recommended amount of weight (gestational weight gain).
30.5% gained the recommended amount.
49.5% gained more than the recommended amount.
6.7% of mothers had less than a HS degree or GED.
Another 35% had a HS degree or GED.
Another 28.3% had Some College.
Remainder College+.
18.1% smoked during pregnancy.
28.2% of these quit by third trimester.
29.1% were delivered by Cesarean.
88% were breastfed at discharge.
96% White, non-Hispanic.
4.4% of NH resident births that occurred in NH between 7/1/18 and 6/30/19) had a response of YES to one or both of these questions:
WAS THERE DOCUMENTED OPIOID EXPOSURE AT ANY TIME DURING THE PREGNANCY?
WAS THE INFANT MONITORED FOR SIGNS OF OPIOID WITHDRAWAL OR NEONATAL ABSTINENCE SYNDROME (NAS)?
Note that these substance questions are limited to births that occurred in NH. In the 2018 period, 9.6% of births to Sullivan County residents occurred out-of-state.
