  • Supports for pregnant women and families with children of any age. Click here to learn more.
  • We have added “at home learning activities” to support families in their expanded role of teacher, which includes contacts for volunteer tutors and more. This is a free service that is available to anyone in the community. Click here to learn more.
  • We continue to provide peer recovery support for groups and individuals. Click here to learn more.
  • We have a weekly online chat meeting with LGBTQIA youth, their families, and allies. Click here to learn more.
  • We are developing new ways to provide our sexual health curriculum (SHINE) online. Click here to learn more.
  • TLC has a registered nurse on staff who can take calls during the weekday to respond to questions from pregnant or lactating moms or any parent with a concern about the health of their child. Call 603-372-2622 to speak to our nurse Karen Jameson.

We continue to take new clients. Anyone interested in enrolling in our family support programs or support groups can call Rene Couitt at 603-372-7758. Anyone needing recovery support can call 603-287-7127.

We encourage all families to reach out to us with concerns or questions. TLC stands for Teach Loving Connections and we are here to help you stay connected to resources and people who can support you and your family. TLC Family Resource Center supports and strengthens all families, children, and youth of Sullivan and Lower Grafton counties with a wide range of free programs, support groups, and education.

Inclusivity Statement

TLC Family Resource Center recognizes that systemic racism exists in our nation and our region of New Hampshire. As a result of that systemic racism, children and families experience trauma that cuts deep and is long lasting, inhibiting their optimal health and development.

TLC Family Resource Center is committed to providing ongoing education, support, and events that are inclusive of people of diverse backgrounds and that promote the unique gifts of all people.

In addition, TLC Family Resource Center is committed to developing new partnerships with community members and agencies that will create and nurture inclusive relationships and help all children, youth, and adults grow and learn together.

Home with kids during Covid-19

Within the span of a few weeks, we all went from our normal day-to-day lives, to being concerned and/or fearful of what comes next. While waiting for life to return to normal and are physically distancing ourselves, we should try to remain socially connected. I had been involved in a playgroup with my youngest child, but that is no longer an option. This blog is my new connection to the community. In it, I share activities that I’m doing with my kids to keep us active and sane. I hope that it gives you some ideas, makes you smile, and reminds you that we are in this together.
