What this is (and more importantly, what this isn't)
As TLC grows and expands as an organization, the need to communicate a variety of messages to a variety of audiences increases, and every message to these can either add to or detract from the overall perception and understanding of what TLC provides the community.
These guidelines are meant to provide clear guidance for the consistent execution of TLC's brand identity. Guidelines are not a how-to manual. Guidelines attempt to prevent disasters, the type of egregious errors created by the uninformed and unregulated. This document will not provide the insights needed to understand an audience. Nor will it provide examples to every conceivable execution. However, from the infinite numbers of ways a message could be conceived and crafted, it does offer suggestions for the execution of relevant and cogent messaging that will help build the equity of the TLC brand.
