Volunteering
We are regularly seeking volunteers to assist in daily operations, contribute towards event planning and implementation, provide peer support, and be a part of our outreach efforts. Volunteers are provided with training and oversight to conduct these responsibilities and help them reach their full potential as a recovery community member.
CERTIFIED RECOVERY SUPPORT WORKER PROGRAMThis program is designed to help qualified volunteers to become Certified Recovery Support Workers (CRSW's). While enrolled in this program, volunteers are provided with training, LADC supervision, and work experience to achieve their CRSW through the Board of Licensing for Alcohol and Other Drug Use Professionals. This program is a 12-month commitment and candidates must complete a screening process for eligibility before being considered for enrollment.
Telephone recovery supportVolunteer's trained in this program reach out to members weekly for check-ins. The volunteer will provide recovery support and encouragement, offer local resources, and build personal connections to enhance both parties' overall recovery.
LEARN MOREAll volunteer candidates are required to complete a screening process which includes filling out an application, being interviewed, and consenting to abide to all of TLC confidentiality agreements.
