Mental Health Clinician/Licensed Social Worker
LOCATION: In Office and At Home
SALARY RANGE: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
HOURS: 30 hours per week (negotiable)
TLC is seeking a Mental Health Clinician/Licensed Social Worker (MHC/LSW) to provide support to children and their parents/caregivers. The MHC/LSW will primarily work with young children who have experienced trauma and/or have been exposed to substance use in the home. The MHC/LSW will partner with families in our office, in homes, and through telehealth to provide child and family screenings, assessments and follow up, and parent-child therapy. The MHC/LSW will work as part of a family support team that includes family support specialists, recovery coaches, and a registered nurse to wrap care and services around children and families. TLC has a two beautiful playrooms as well as therapeutic offices to meet with families.

If you join our team, here are some of the things you will be doing:
Screenings and Assessments
(Training can be provided for assessments and screening tools)
• Conduct screening for depression, domestic violence, child abuse, substance abuse, etc. and make referrals as needed.
• Conduct the PFS II Concrete Supports Survey and connect families to concrete supports.
• Conduct ASQs for children under 5.
Parent-Child Therapy
• Provide therapy to eligible families in the office, in their homes, and through tele-health
• Document activities for billing, court reports, and other required documentation
Documentation and Reports
• Complete required electronic documentation and program specific forms
• Prepare reports for partners including courts and DCYF
SUPERVISION (10%)
• If qualified, may provide clinical supervision to other family support staff
• If qualified, may review and sign case notes for Medicaid Billing
What skills/experience are required for this position?
• Current NH Licensure or ability to obtain licensure in 2 years as an LICSW, LCMHC, or other clinical mental health license.
• At least one year of experience providing counseling/therapy to parents and children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new evidence-based therapy models.
• Ability to work independently and be a contributing team member.
• Proficient technology skills.
• Values diversity and inclusion.
