TLC Family Resource Center seeks a front desk receptionist who enjoys interacting with people and providing exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for greeting customers, answering the phone and providing general administrative support to the organization including tasks such as copying, scanning and mailing. This is a full-time position, 9:00-4:00 Monday through Friday, at TLC's office in Claremont, NH.

Customer Service (70%)
- Greets and assists visitors with professionalism and respect
- Answers and screens phone
- Accepts deliveries, sorts and distributes mail and packages
- Sorts and distributes concrete supports to participants such as diapers, food, etc.
- Inventories and orders office supplies following purchase order process
- Stocks and maintains cleanliness of coffee bar and waiting area
- Manages Chromebook and Children’s Book libraries
- Prints and posts weekly room reservation calendars
- Assists staff and managers with scanning, copying, mailing
- Participates in trainings with staff to learn about programs
- Participates in trainings on various tools that will support job tasks
- Participates in required team trainings for professional development
- Participates in supervision and self-evaluation
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years customer service experience
- 1+ years in human service or nonprofit setting (preferred)
- Training and experience in de-escalation and crisis management (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with various computer programs such as MS Office Suite and Office365
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice healthy boundaries with staff and visitors
- Ability to remain calm and supportive in stressful situations
- Ability to provide a warm, inviting environment for all staff and visitors
